Scram!

Oh, what to do when you are young, girly, and forced to go outside?

Here are a few choices...

1. Remember that you and all your friends are fairies and that, (duh!), fairies live outside! Go find them in the 'secret' garden. (a.k.a. the neighbors front yard)

Sometimes they have parties in this circle garden...

Or climb up this fairy rope...

2. If fairies cannot be found, do not despair! Instead, make a throne for the King of the Garden (a.k.a. your little dog, Beans) out of firewood from the backyard!

Don't worry about the spelling...fairies are notoriously bad spellers...

3. To show off your work, beg your Mom to take a photograph of your fabulous creation. Ask her not to notice the bad spelling.

4. When your friends are called in for supper, search out a fairy dress in your atrociously messy room and ask your Mom to 'make fairy hair'.

5. Take lots of pictures.

6. Go to bed happy, knowing that you have done your fairy duty for the day.

I don't know what I like the best - that creative goofy mind or the green socks. It's a toss up. :-)
Friday Night Pizza at 5 - bring beer.

Oh how I love this! What a sweetheart. Can your fairy come over and play with my fairy? I think they would get along fairyly well.

Such a fun time.

Ahna-
It went well! Thanks for asking! I think I did well within the range I needed to be...now we'll just have to see if I beat Nathan!

Your little fairy reminds me of a tiny fairy I used to know many years ago. She often dressed up in a lavendar bedsheet and pretended to be a ghost. Silly fairy!

She also dressed up her little dog Magnum, much to his chagrin. But, when dressed up, he turned into a sprite, too!

Love, Mom

Haha, Mom!

Do we still have that picture of me tooling around the neighborhood in a sheet? Gilly would lovelovelove that! Ha!

P.S. I had almost wiped Magnum from memory...what a funny little beast!

P.S. to all of you...

It's so nice to hear from you!!

I was just saying to Ahna, in a rather mopey sort of way, that 'nobody likes me everybody hates me I'm gonna eat some worms'. Silly, I know...but I've been in kind of a bummer mood lately.

So, thanks for taking a minute to pop in and say such sweet things! It made my day...

How lovely. This is probably the most enchantingly wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

I just LOVE fairy hair!

Hey, Kelly!

Nice to read you!
I popped over to your blog last night just before bed.

You've got some beautiful watercolors! Nice work!

I meant to leave you a sweet comment but the right side of my brain wasn't working and that typically results in total gibberish-diarrhea-of-the-mouth so I refrained.

Not to worry, though, I plugged it in this morning...
